This meal consists of:

Important: Tripe is a natural product with nothing added or taken away and as such can vary greatly in colour, smell and fat content.
The fat content shown in the table on the next tab is an example of the particular batch that was analysed but all tripe will vary in fat content depending on where in the country they have come from, the type of grass they have been fed and the time of year. Sometimes it is whiter and fattier than other times so please bear this in mind when ordering.
Raw green tripe offers beneficial bacteria and enzymes. It has a desirable calcium:phosphorus ratio of 1:1. Green tripe’s pH is acidic, the protein is 16.2%, and the fat is 12.1%. It also has the correct proportions of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.
One of the best constituents of raw green tripe is lactobacillus acidophilus. This is one of the intestinal bacteria that keep unwanted bacteria such as e-coli, salmonella and listeria from overpopulating and causing health problems.
A balance of microflora in the gut is extremely important to maintaining good health.
These probiotics help keep the animal’s immune system in top shape.
Digestive enzymes. The enzymes that help the ruminant digest its meal will give the pet the same benefit. Dogs and cats do not naturally produce amylase, so the nutrients present in vegetative matter are not readily available to them. Raw green tripe contains these digestive enzymes.
This product comes as 10 individual unwrapped frozen blocks of approximately 1kg each. Each block is approximately the size of a house brick.

I've been a customer for years and have just discovered the Maldon shop. The pickup could not have been easier. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and the usual excellent product at an even better price. Packaging is simpler so no polystyrene cool box to break up after filling the freezer (I wrapped the box in a dog blanket). Recommended.

Well it smells evil, but clean plates every time, they also lick the plates around the kitchen trying to get every last bit. Not bad for two picky eaters.

I have 6 Alaskan Malamutes and have tried other raw food,but this is by far the best ,and yes they actually really do love it! Green beef tripe is fabulous for any tummy upsets I feed a mix of 50% tripe with 50% mince chicken with bone ,definitely would recommend this
